a poem

I wish I didn’t exist

I wish I had no body
I wish I was all air
floating in the sky
somewhere above ur head
and u could see me
smiling at u
the purest perhaps

I was I had no identity
I wish I was all human
wandering on the earth
somewhere on ur way
maybe close to u
waving my hand
so childish perhaps

I wish I was a dream
I wish I wasn’t real
maybe I was in the movie
u watched last night
talking about love
in the simplest way
perhaps…

I wish I wasn’t me
or any of u
chained to life
sick of what we see
murmuring lies everyday
in the ugliest way
perhaps …

I wish I wasn’t a fish in a bowl
a man imprisoned on earth
trapped in thousands years of history
surrounded by fools
theorizing the universe
and the bitter confession
I am one of them
perhaps…

I wish I wasn’t born
I wish I didn’t begin

how did they progress?!

this post is dedicated to faraz and his "why we never progress" series and an approval to the theory that "sky everywhere has the same color".

recently, i received an email from USC (university of southern california) that my unofficial transcript of university of tehran in FARSI (!) is needed for my admission process.
surprisingly, university of tehran does not release the unofficial transcripts in FARSI (!) but only in ENGLISH(!). so i went to the computer lab of fine arts and simply printed my courses from ut.ac.ir website, scanned and emailed them to USC (!). today i recieved a new email from USC admission office:

"Dear Sina,
Thank you for your inquiry. We have downloaded the original-language transcript attached to your message. Unfortunately, we will not be able to use it for our evaluation. This is because your transcript gives your marks in Western-style numerals. We require a transcript which is *completely* in Farsi script, including numerals, in order to complete our review. Please submit this document as soon as possible. We regret the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation."

I always ask myself, are there any limits for stupidity!?!

yeah, this is Iran, this is us!

well this is not the nearby mosque of ur neighborhood! this is the restaurant of Tehran University Student's Club! which hosts dear intellectuals
Iranian's approach to science today!
konkoooor! konkoooor! but what for!?

why I should pack my bags!?

this is the picture of the design which was accepted by Iranian foregin affairs ministry for Iranian future embassy at karbala, Iraq. well they critisezed our (mahdi and I) design for not having Iranian-islamic identity! and being so westeren! i think they are right! the accepted design is truely Iranian-Islamic! because it simply has NO identity!

our life of taboo's

FREE HUG in vienna!-

sina in sketch-up-ic age!

The underground world!

with no doubt tehran's valiasr square project would be an exiting project by itself, the junction of metro lines plus the idea of under ground passage beneath the square makes it even more exciting! I am working on the early concept of the space between the metro station and ground floor, which is trapped between -5m and -13m under the square.

Barack Obama

when americans talk of change, it’s a change itself!
for years they thought of being the best! the # 1! now they finally talk of change! talk of their mistakes! Barack Obama is not one charismatic person, he is a leader of a movement, which has been hidden inside america’s society in recent years, the liberal movement which brought workers, woman and blacks to streets of America in 50’s 60’s and 70’s. it is JFK, it is MLK. the social movement which has strong bases among youth and educated. it includes a vast spectrum of various groups, from pragmatic feminists and sexual freedom movements to worker unions, greens and human rights NGOs. what is evident is that this “Obamaniacs” have been away from the political power for years. the Obama campaign is not the symbol of the emergence of these various left or liberal movements, but the rise of the iceberg pick been hidden beneath American social and cultural structure. mostly active in internet, its campaign is the manifest of the struggle of new layers in American society to push back the traditional fundaments and values, both in politics and culture.

strong conservative resistant both within republican and democratic parties has emerged to stop Obamaniacs from stepping into white house. Hillary campaign is simply a big show to distract the attention of feminist movements from Obama campaign. the conservatives have understood that there is no great nominee on republican side to stop Obama so they are investing on Hillary as the only hope.
it is easy to expect strong media support for Clinton as she has been endorsed or named as hopeful nominee for U.S. presidency again and again in highprofile American newspapers. her victories in primaries are highlighted, while the endorsements pouring on Obama campaign are undermined in CNN, ABC or CBS. but still there is not much room for the conservative media to maneuver on this as the internet independent media such as bloggers which are more attractive to the young generation gain the upper hand. Manusel Canstells predicts the encounter of forces of change and forces of tradition is his 1997 book. now we must wait and see who wins this time!

poetry

lonely dialogues

as long as I recall
there’s been a runaway plan
a goal in my mind
somewhere else
away from these walls
I imagines smiles
something new
not these books, not those looks
I created dreams
somebody different
said good byes to loneliness
then I could be two

away from here
away from my world
away from myself

I kept looking out the window
in search for a happy ending
there was always a tomorrow
just mine

a shepherd in Siberia
a wanderer in north pole
south America
or north Africa
one way tickets
to the future I used to belong
one way road
I never thought of return

it is all here
in this room
where I belong
there is no where to go
back to myself
I am that
endless fight

I am the road
the tickets can’t get me anywhere

a poem

How "Sanced" we are!?

Google and Sanctions
if u try to down load the latest version of "google sketchup pro" from the google site you will probably see this message: "THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST, BUT THE PRODUCT THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DOWNLOAD IS NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY". I must add this new exprience of mine to the "why we never progress" series in Faraz Soleimani's weblog. Anyways I actually think the reason that google has blocked access to its products in "YOUR COUNTRY" is not UN sanctions, but it is mainly about copy right issue! and when it goes to copy right issue then "YOUR COUNTRY" is the most free country in the world! I was studying "AGE OF COMMUNICATION" عصر اطلاعات book by Manuel Castells and I bet that after reading that you will agree with me that "YOUR COUNTRY" is just a big bad rebel among all good guys!

CRACK MOOD ADVISE: if you ever wanted to circle around this IP address blocks just try "U88.EXE" . after using that stupid google willingly offers it products to you! I donno any link for "U88.EXE" but if you find me online, I can send it to u!

wassup?!

in the global news: barak and hillary are killin each other over democratic nomination in U.S.
and chad rebels visited the capital unexpectedly and brought governmental building under siege for a day or so!
ahmadi nejad is sending a new rocket (which astonishingly resembles as shahab 3) to the space! and perhabs he is exporting ISLAMIC REPUBLIC to solar system. and students of tehran university fought riot police over their cafeteria's food!

beside world news, all my extra-ordinary friends are also busy with something these days, FARAZ in searching for BARIUM SULFATE and MAHMOOD is running for PARLIMENT (majlis)!
here is my room, with a hurt knee, I spent my time these days with my computer, we (my computer and Hi) sketch forms pointlessly, wander in the global village looking for everything and nothing. well this is life i guess! and I am living it!

Vray for Sketchup

I am just begining to learn how to render with vray in sketchup environment, well the final results will be the same as 3DMax render, but i am still far away from that! this concept is created in sketchup and rendered with vray.
