What tomorrow may bring

Tell me what is true love?

Tell me if it does exist?

Or that it melts away like winter breeze?

Or that it is temporary as the color of trees?

Is it originated from these childish love games, everyday we play?

Tell me why feelings in my mind vanish just as I ask them to stay?

Is this a riddle I am supposed to solve?

Or that there are other faces I don’t know of love?

Did I miss my chances? Did I ever have one?

Or maybe I neglected the world round me while I was on run?

My eyes on the door, my ears waiting for the telephone ring

for that I dream of what tomorrow may bring

Drowned in all time hesitation, this is my dialogue with myself

of the life I never chosen, the life which endures

and I gradually discover the meanings lie in everyday words

Afraid to see them vaporized as they are touched by my mouth

I save my dreams deep inside ignoring how unreal they may be

Putting them away, I shall observe my life as naked it is

Maybe I should wait for my next discovery

The one telling me what true love is …
