Typical Brooklyn residential block in red hook area is almost consisted of 50 residential buildings usually with 3 or 4 floors each. The whole block approximately houses around 700 people

Such urban fabric will only be able to house the increasing population by increasing the number of floors and building typology which hurt the current mass and space balance and decreases the perception of public spaces such as parks and recreation spaces to residential buildings.
